About Us
Obaasan's Kitchen
Inspired by my mom, Sachiko Kojima, this food truck honors her love for beautifully prepared food. Sachiko was an atomic bomb survivor from Nagasaki. Working in a restaurant specifically designated to Naval Officers, she met my father. After moving to the United States, she continued cooking the fine Japanese foods she loved.

We bring great food to locations all over our city and surrounding areas. Our calendar below shows our scheduled stops, but be sure to follow our social media for surprise visits! We can serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in your neighborhood!

Do you have a company picnic or other special event where you would like for us to show up? Our weekends book up fast, so contact us soon. We are available Monday through Saturday. We are closed on Sundays.

Awesome egg/chicken fried rice, with fresh peas, carrots, green onion, and sesame seeds. Chicken is marinated in homemade marinade. Price: $5 per pint.
Cheeseburger Egg Roll
Fresh ground beef, cheddar cheese, special sauce and dill pickle. (served with homemade sauce) Price: $5 each with a sample of fried rice
Philly Cheesesteak Egg Roll
You are in for a treat here! Our top seller everywhere we go! Sliced and marinated flank steak cooked on a griddle with bell peppers, onions, and provolone cheese. (served with specialty dipping sauce) Price: $5 each with a sample of fried rice
Traditional Pork and Cabbage Egg Roll
If you like traditional egg rolls, this is the one for you. These egg rolls have seasoned ground pork, asian vegetables and a special seasoning. (served with homemade sweet chili sauce) Price: $5 each with a sample of fried rice
Yakisoba
Delicious and authentic Japanese Yakisoba with sliced pork, cabbage, carrots, green onion, and topped with aonori flakes and red pickled ginger. Price: $6 per pint
